Updates on our Scholars

The area coordinator of Barangay Inarawan from the Department of Education (DepEd), visited our learning center called “My Father’s Vineyard,” recently last May to have a pre-assessment and evaluation of requirements that we need to submit for our Junior High School scholars who are qualified to graduate.

Our students have been working hard, even during the pandemic and lockdown, to finish their requirements. Currently, we have four students who are finalizing their modules and portfolio. Despite the delays, due to the pandemic, our students have been working hard to finish their studies. It has not been an easy journey with the personal, family, and financial problems that they have been experiencing.

That is why, our Alternative Learning System (ALS) program does not just include their academics, but a holistic approach with the lives of our students which includes their emotional, physical health, and spiritual needs. We have been praying together, encouraging one another online, and with our occasional meet-ups have been guiding them in their journey.

Let us pray that they will continually be motivated to study despite the delays with the schedule of their final assessment. We are waiting for an announcement from the government whether they will be scheduled for an interview assessment (portfolio review), or a written examination.

Thank you for the partnership, and the support that you have been giving for our scholars to help them in their further studies, personal development, growth in their relationship with the Lord, and create a positive impact in the society!
