We have distributed grocery bags to about 30 families. During this time of lock down, some have retained their jobs, but most of the families just stay at home and have no work. There is one mother, who is a street vendor, told us that she cannot sell anymore. Most of the construction workers also stay at home. It is quite a difficult time for the community. In our own little way, we give them some assistance, and we are keeping in touch with them.
It is good news that the local government (Barangay Inarawan) is also giving out groceries and hygiene articles to them.
