Lars and Britt’s Visit in Pagrai and Inarawan Outreach

Lars and Britt, Sara’s parents, visited our outreaches in Antipolo City.

Lars encouraged the house church in Inarawan to “do not fear,” but instead trust in the Lord in whatever circumstances that we are going through especially during hard times. We need to have faith, and call on the name of the Lord to guide us and help us.

The children prepared a song and dance presentation, and a special number from one of our youths. We had a wonderful time together with Filipino food; fried fish, rice, papaya vegetable dish, local fruits like bananas, and langka (or jackfruit).

Next, they visited Pagrai Children’s Ministry with about 30 children. The children listened a Bible story, and did coloring as way for them to express themselves, and enhance their talents in arts. We shared some snacks together, and we prayed for some of the parents there who are experiencing pain and sickness. One of the difficulties that the families are experiencing in the community is that the poor people have difficulties accessing the healthcare system because of their financial problems. They cannot afford laboratory examinations, medicines, and other medical services. As a way to help them, we are networking with other organizations who are assisting with medicines, and offer medical programs.

During their second visit in Inarawan, it was Britt who shared an evangelistic tool using “colorful beads” about growing in our Christian life, which can be used as an encouragement for people who would like to hear about the Gospel. It was a nice time of fellowship, talking and praying for one another!

Thank you once again for your support!
